NaNoWriMo day 24: Thanksgiving Aftermath

Hi there, it's day 24 of NaNoWriMo and the bookkeeper has written absolutely nothing. If you didn't have the time to write today, please tell her so she doesn't feel so guilty.

Thanksgiving was nice, though the bookkeeper didn't get to visit with her relatives. She misses them terribly. Relatives: if you are reading this, you had better miss her too! You all should have come to her house, but since you didn't, you missed out on pumpkin pie and the apple desert thingy that her mother made.

Today the bookkeeper drew a purple dragon, which doesn't have anything to do with her NaNo, unless you count it's blank stare - so similar to Bookkeeper's when she's been staring at a notebook page for hours on end.

Bookkeeper thought she could do better, so she tried re-coloring it with a new style of shading:

While scrounging around for more things to put on this blog update, Bookkeeper came across this, a picture of one of her NaNo characters that she hadn't uploaded yet:

It wasn't drawn in the margin of her notebook page, so she missed it.

Hope you all had a good day!

  1. I have just like one third of the story left to write. I don't know if I can manage it in 4 days. I don't have Thanksgiving as an excuse--my novels just expand like dough until they take over the universe with their portly layers.

  2. @Firework - First off, I love the way you have with words! Second, I wish you luck.
